Personal comment -
What is going on with New Orleans? It appears the government is more concerned about law and order in the region rather than providing food and water. Am I the only one who gets that?

It appears that society doesn't hold people together very well in the wake of a disaster. There are growing reports of violence, shootings, rapes etc. Why? Why are they more concerned with killing rather than helping each other?
