Aliens
This is going to be a bit of a long post that will probably take ages to finish.
So, aliens, do they exist, or are they a figment of the imagination?
There are a number of views regarding aliens and UFO's and I'll try to cover as much as I can from what I think.
Shall we start with UFO's? Ok then...
'Flying Saucers' is a term that was coined by the press to describe the reports by Kenneth Arnold. The funny thing is, he didn't say they were like saucers, in fact that they flew like stones or saucers skipping across a pond. He even drew a diagram of them....and they look a little like crescent moons with a peak in the rear curve.
So, the fact is, that these aren't the only types of flying objects in the sky. It should be noted at this point that the military has this habit of flying top secret projects at night....because it's dark...and people say they are flying saucers. UFO's is what they are...Unidentified Flying Objects.
Apart from these, there are the usual sightings of saucers, black triangles, lights in the sky, and the weird shaped ones like cylinders, balls etc. that have the tendency to show up on film during major public events (Mexico as an example).
Here in the UK, I know that the Rossendale Valley is known to spotters as UFO Valley...apparently they get a lot of sightings there. Another place is along the Fylde coast. I have seen a black triangle there.
Now before you roll your eyes and say 'yeah, sure', I can clarify a bit. The best bit about the Fylde Coast is that we are under the main flightpath from Manchester to cross to the US etc., so we get a lot of civilian traffic. Blackpool has it's own airport, which explains a lot of smaller craft floating around. There is also the odd military aircraft flying around from Warton, most prominently the Typhoon, although Hawks, Tornados etc make their appearance.
Now, with all that you would expect that you get used to all sorts of engine noises. That black triangle was low level, because it was under the clouds, and I didn't hear any noise at all. That's right....no noise whatsoever. Make of that what you will.
ok...next...Rods
Have you heard of these? These are only showing up on cameras that have their playback on slowmo. There have been a few instances of this, namely the guys that were basejumping into some stupidly deep cavern. They were filming it for a tape, and when they were reviewing it, these flying things appeared to be darting around them. Apparently from the footage that has been seen, they range from a few inches, to a few hundred feet in size. Strange yes? There are obviously perks of being able to move incredibly fast.
Aliens!
Now....hands up, who's seen an alien? I will finish this off in a couple of days I think....so wait patiently....thank you.
