Politics

Isn't politics wonderful?

Yes, it's a great benefit of democracy that we can elect politicians to represent their constituencies, for them to turn out to be a major disappointment. Perhaps the people to elect are those that don't want to be elected....

I only mention this as we are obviously being subjected to the election campaign of the Tony Blair Party....oops sorry, the Labour Party. Personally I don't think he should be reelected again. Mind you I thought he shouldn't have been elected in the first place, but hey, I voted Conservative.

Important Note: Political speeches have to be listened to carefully. Frequently the use of cynicism is recommended. Reading between the lines is also good. See if there is any detail to the speeches. If not - steer clear.

At this point I could go on a major rant about the US Government, but I won't because it should be obvious by now what they stand for and what they want to do. A majority apparently voted for him....alleged rigging etc notwithstanding. I suppose the fact that he can't do another term is a relief for some.

What this links to is the proposed legislation for internment on the sayso of politicians. Why? Who would you trust, a politician or a judge? Says it all really. Use the evidence is all I say.

That is it....end of rant.
