More Stuff

When I saw this, my first comment was WTF?!?!?!!?? Then again, funding deranged psychopaths is not exactly new is it?

So, the probe into Rafik Hariri's murder is biased? Look at the facts then.

So, no-one is Israel is watching
this. What do you expect you moron?!? Israelis have no time for a film about rabid killers of their own people.

So, seeing as Mad Cow Disease is supposed to be the UK's fault, what excuse does the US have for
this in Japan? Have they learnt nothing from the near meltdown of the UK meat industry?

So, today the family of Jean Charles de Menezes held a
vigil at Stockwell tube station today. One thing though....wasn't he here illegally? Let me know if you have a link, and I'll put it up.

I have
this from Wikipedia about him.

Incidentally, Asad Rehman, who represents them, used to be a member of Amnesty International amongst other things, then part of the SWP (Socialist Workers Party) and is now political assistant to George Galloway in the Respect Party. How exactly does he represent the family of Jean Charles de Menezes?

Incidentally, a site of interest here.

Gorse Fox could explain more regarding BSE... but it is very boring. The main issue at stake (steak?) is to maintain the tracability of cattle. BSE is endemic (now) and there are strict policies here in UK to manage it... such rules are not in place in many other countries, though the US is trying to introduce them voluntarily through the industry bodies. It is imperative that all animals (the cohort) that could have been infected from the same vector are identifiable, traced and culled.

Sorry... GF said it was boring!...

Hey, no worries, I understood it. Looks like Japan won't buy US beef for a while though.

'Shoot-to-kill' victim was here legally, says Straw

http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/crime/article301667.ece

Brazilian correspondents also quoted Straw as saying that he understood that Menezes' situation was legal.

Jack Straw said he believed he was legally in the UK.

And if his papers hadn't been in order, so what? The guy was summarily executed. The gunman wasn't acting like a policeman he was acting like a gangster.
Get to grips with the gravity of this situation.

As far as I am aware, the gunmen were treating De Menezes as he were a suicide bomber. Shots to the body may set off a bomb, therefore they have to shoot to kill, which means shooting in the head.

I believe that is the situation. Whether it was the right person or not is the reason for the investigation. This would be very different if it was a suicide bomber.
