The killers of Arash Ghorbani-Zarin have been sentenced.
Well it looks like the Conservatives won't be coming to Blackpool anymore...does anyone seem surprised? I mean those that know Blackpool and it's facilities...such as they are.
Traffic wardens issue parking tickets....but 113,000 in 2 years??? Raised £1.3m in revenue for the council, so it's a nice little earner.
Some daft sod wants to buy Blackpool FC. Why??

Surely the question is why such a decision rests on the shoulders of a movie star?
Er, could it be because he was elected the state's governor? Far better that Arnie, like Clint Eastwood (mayor of Carmel), Sonny Bono (congressman for CA - drove along his very own expressway in the summer, actually part of I10 through the San Barnadino Valley), Crazy Cooter from the Dukes of Hazard (congressman for GA) and Ronald Reagan before him, get up on the stump and actually go to the trouble to get elected than all these carpers from the sidelines like George Clooney and Babs Streisand I say.
The question never truly rested with Arnie. The court sentanced Tookie and as in every criminal case in every state (The President as well) the Gov is allowed to pardon those deemed worthy. Hells bells even the LIBERAL 5th Circuit REFUSED to grant him a stay. WHY? Tookie was a murderer. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
The real question is why did it take so many years to put this animal down like he so richly deserved????
