China
So Paul McCartney won't play in China because of the fur. I would have thought that despite the obvious cruelty to the animals, there are more important considerations.
For example, it appears that China is quite happy to poison it's population...especially seeing as Russia is being affected as well.
Not only that, they are cavalier about safety when it comes to coal mining for example. What about bird flu?
What about political prisoners? Restriction of information? Human rights?

yeah! personally, i think it is just an excuse to not have to go to China.
He could have come up with a better one then.
In that case, he should stop going to Japan becasue the Japanese hunt dolphins, and if Paul is an Indian, he should have stopped going to every other country because they all eat beef! And he should certainly stop going to virtually every country which sell fur!
You're right that it's just an excuse fo not coming to China.
However, it's not a big loss for him. Most of his albums are not published in China, and most Chinese don't listen to English songs at all.
